I have my home page set to show my most recent 8 posts. When I click on the ‘Blog’ page it is not showing about 6 posts. So there is a gap in what is shown on the home page and what is shown as the recent posts. I do have the ‘Recent Posts’ little section on the right side of the Blog page but it only shows the 5 most recent posts that are on the home page. I also have the ‘Archives’ section below that and it has the years and months of posts. But I have the Blog page setting set to show the next 15 posts. So I assume that I should see the posts in order from newest to oldest. E.g. Posts 1-8 should show on the homepage and start with the most recent. Posts 9-24 should show on the blog page. But there’s a gap of about 6 posts. So I’m actually seeing Posts 15-30 on the Blog page.
I’ve looked through the settings in WordPress and can’t find anything that would control that. I’m not sure what page is being used to go and edit the code on.
