SG Optimizer – getting rid of Really Simple SSL

When I would activate Really Simple SSL I would get logged out and when I logged back in URLs had been updated to https. The two entries in General Settings – WordPress Address (URL) Site Address (URL) were also updated to https.

My understanding is that I don’t need RSS with the use of SG Optimizer. Do I have to manually change those two fields in General Settings to read https://www….? Or do I leave them alone?
