Preview and link share don’t work if i change public root path

I have installed File Manager Pro.
I have modified Public root path, so that when the user enters the file manager he can only see a specific subfolder. This works fine. The problem is that then the preview of the images stops working and also the link to share it is not correct. For the preview and link keep using Default root instead of Public root path.
