I have Regenerate Thumbnails version 2.2.6 on WordPress 4.7.1. All images uploaded since yesterday are unable to be regenerated its thumbnails by the plugin. The error is: “20160706_133008_HDR” (ID 471) failed to resize. The error message was: Unknown failure reason.
The permission of the file after I upload is 644. I tried to change the permission into 777 and rerun the regenerate thumbnails but it still didn’t work.
