Birthdate DMY items go out of alignment when empty and set as required

I have noticed the following behaviour when it is marked as required and nothing is filled in (trying to bug test my site and finding anything that might cause our users to have issues)

From what I can see the error labels that appear, cause the items to be placed one under the other (using a CSS inspector, they look to consume the entire width of the page)

I tried to limit the width of the error items, but I think that it is an issue that there are a label for each missing date item, and that doesn’t allow the items to remain where they originally were
Would these items need to be put into it’s own div container and row, so that they remain beside each other when there is an error, rather than showing like this?
