Http Error in Media Upload

I am running the most recent wordpress and all in one security plugin. For the most part it is running great, and I am able to upload most files no problem. If a file is close to 10Mb or larger I was getting an HTTP error when doing the upload. I have dug around like crazy, increased memory limits and max execution times and file upload size limits etc. In the end I found that if I deactivated the All in one security plugin the problem was resolved. In digging around I see that the plugin inserts “LimitRequestBody 10240000” into my htaccess file. I removed this line and now it works great.

My questions is… is there a setting in the frontend I can turn off to make sure this line does not get reinserted into my htaccess file the next time the plugin upgrades? And if not then how can I ensure this line will not get reinserted without my knowledge?

If you can help me out that would be great. Thanks!
