Received payment but no booking

Hi,

I’ve had reports of booking payments going through i.e the paypal payment confirmation is received but it’s not appearing on the bookings list and the booking confirmation email isn’t being received. Appears to be intermittent.

How is this possible, and where do I start investigating?
