PLEASE HELP!

I am at a loss. I have two client sites that have received this error message (Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted…). I have absolutely no way of investigating the issue because the developer of these projects is hosting the files. He said the problem is with plugins, but there is no reason that this same error message should occur on two separate domains, with two different sets of plugins.

He blames updates but 1) wordpress sites should not be this unstable 2) I am only using pro versions of plugins 3) I read support, ratings and make sure plugins are compatible with the latest version of WordPress before installing 4) I have not received notification of updates.

I can’t keep deleting plugins that the clients are already familiar using, that contain essential data for the functionality of their sites. The latest error occurred when my client (editor) was making simple updates to the site. The plugin she was using had no problems until last week, and I could still make updates as an admin.

Now login is completely inaccessible, but the site itself is still online.

Insight???

Thanks in advance.
