is the member an admin user? Can you start a support thread here. This would make it much easier for the plugin developers to investigate further your issue if I can’t help you resolve it.

If I use a wp admin I can see the admin bar.
When I test a SMP member who is an admin and another who is an author neither see the admin bar.
If I use a wp author user they don’t see the admin bar like a SMP suthor user when SMP is enabled
If I disable SMP then the wp author user can see the admin bar.
