I use a shortcode to embed a slideshow of a photo album at the bottom of a blog post.
However, the WP Photo Album Plus plug-in changes the URL and creates ones for each slide.
Here’s my blog post: http://gunksclimbers.org/gunks-news/adopt-a-crag-bonticou-2017/
and the plug-in changes the URL to http://gunksclimbers.org/gunks-news/adopt-a-crag-bonticou-2017-recap/wppaspec/oc1/cv0/ab4/pt89 and keeps creating new URLs ending in pt90, pt91, pt92… for each slide.
I don’t want all of these additional URLs. Is there a way for the plug-in to not create a new URL for each slide? It creates duplicate content issues for SEO, and I’m getting lots of 404 crawl errors for these URLs in Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools). I would prefer it run in a lightbox and not create any URLs, or find a way to no-index/canonical the variations of the original URL.
Please let me know if there are settings I can use to fix this.
Thanks!
