I’m running WP 4.7.5, Mantra theme (Cryout Creations) 2.6.1, and BuddyPress 2.8.2, with WP ULike 2.5.1.
After installing Mantra and configuring the theme through the additional (and required) settings plugin, I installed and configured Buddypress then began to add plugins for BP. After adding WP ULike, I was no longer able to work with modifying the theme settings through the settings plugin. All plugins were deactivated and then reactivated, one at a time, until WP ULike was reactivated which shut down the settings plugin.
Just to make sure it was the WP ULike plugin causing the problem, I deactivated all plugins again, except the setting plugin and WP ULike. Same result. WP ULike shuts down Cryout Creations’ Mantra Settings plugin.
The error message is:
“Checking jQuery functionality…
If this message remains visible after the page has loaded then there is a problem with your WordPress jQuery library. This can have several causes, including incompatible plugins. The Parabola Settings page cannot function without jQuery.” which appears at the top of the settings plugin page when WP ULike is activated.
Is there a fix available for this?
