Hi Tim, we just replied back to your last email message.
I have to reiterate here (so that others can understand the situation) that the reason the plugin activation is breaking your site is probably the same reason that is explained here by our lead developer, Anton.
In a nutshell, as explained by Eric via email, your staging site went down because of the WordPress automatic update process, not because of WP RSS Aggregator directly. We are aware of this issue happening to a handful of users (though we are unable to reproduce it on our end), and we have offered solutions like the ones here and on the link above. We asked you to provide us with FTP access to your staging site so that we can try to fix this issue and bring your site up again ourselves.
Installing the Core plugin from scratch, then install the add-on should bring things back to normal for you. We kindly ask you to please give this a go and reconsider your above review.
Our refund policy is clear that certain criteria must be met before a refund is processed. In this case, the plugin is working fine, as is evidenced by the tens of thousands of users who have not had such an issue, and the fix for this issue has been offered.
I hope you understand and you can give our plugins another chance by installing them from scratch in order to see the value they can add to your WordPress site.
Looking forward to seeing you use our plugins successfully on your site.
