Feature request – make this feature an optional setting per group

The only issue that I have with this plugin is that once installed then all groups get a docs directory for uploads, on my sites only a few groups need document upload areas, for the rest of the groups I would prefer not to enable it.

Could you make it an optional item for group admins to select?
