Hyperlinks not active in Events list

Hi.
I have a link to a page in my event description but it is only active when I go to the full event page but not in the events list page. Is this a bug or by design?

http://thelma.scot/WP/events/ There should be a link on “Details of the day can be found here.” It is active when you go to the event page.
