Thanks for clarifying Travis.
To clarify, the email you pasted above was sent by one of our support staff not myself. I take full responsibility for the actions of my staff of course, and as others can attest to, they give great support. In this case however, I agree that you were entitled to a refund. You seem to have bought the plugin specifically for the feature of having posts open in a lightbox, and the plugin didn't deliver on that. Hence, you are entitled to a refund, please contact me via email so I'll get that sorted for you.
I'd also like to reiterate that we appreciate our customers and their feedback, indeed many of the features the add-ons have were built directly in response to customer requests.
With regards to the feature in question here (open links in lightbox), it is my opinion that it's not something that WP RSS Aggregator should deal with, there are many other plugins that can do so and we opted to avoid feature bloat by letting the user choose any plugin he wishes to use for this feature. We want to focus on the core feature of WP RSS Aggregator; importing content from other websites via RSS as easily as possible.
Hope that clarifies the reasoning behind our decision to remove that feature, and apologies for the miscommunication within our support system. I'll have your refund processed as soon as you get in touch.
