Hi,
Tryin’ to install your plugin in OpenLiteSpeed Server Evironment.
I got 1 warning and 1 error:
==
Lets check that browsers supporting webp gets the WEBP when the JPEG is requested
Making a HTTP request for the test image (pretending to be a client that supports webp, by setting the “Accept” header to “image/webp”)
Request URL: //mentalsky.dau.org.ua/wp-content/uploads/webp-express-test-images/kEWA8z.JPEG
Response: 200 OK
Response headers:
– cache-control: public, max-age=604800
– expires: Sat, 19 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– etag: “1b34-5da203bf-bf5b9;;;”
– last-modified: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– content-type: image/webp
– content-length: 6964
– accept-ranges: bytes
– date: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– server: LiteSpeed
Alrighty. We got a webp. Just what we wanted. Great!. BUT!
Warning: We did not receive a Vary:Accept header. That header should be set in order to tell proxies that the response varies depending on the Accept header. Otherwise browsers not supporting webp might get a cached webp and vice versa.

Now lets check that browsers not supporting webp gets the JPEG
Making a HTTP request for the test image (without setting the “Accept” header)
Request URL: //mentalsky.dau.org.ua/wp-content/uploads/webp-express-test-images/kEWA8z.JPEG
Response: 200 OK
Response headers:
– cache-control: public, max-age=604800
– expires: Sat, 19 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– etag: “1b34-5da203bf-bf5b9;;;”
– last-modified: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– content-type: image/webp
– content-length: 6964
– accept-ranges: bytes
– date: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 16:47:59 GMT
– server: LiteSpeed
Bummer. As the “content-type” header reveals, we got the webp. So even browsers not supporting webp gets webp. Not good!
The test FAILED.
What to do now?
If there is: Check out the How do I configure my CDN in “Varied image responses” operation mode? section in the FAQ (//wordpress.org/plugins/webp-express/)
First, examine the response headers above. Is there any indication that the image is returned from a CDN cache? If there is: Check out the How do I configure my CDN in “Varied image responses” operation mode? section in the FAQ (//wordpress.org/plugins/webp-express/)
If not: please report this in the forum, as it seems that there is something in the .htaccess rules generated by WebP Express that are not working.

Can you help me with that issue?
Thank you in advance!

Firstly, I love the look of this converter! My website has a WooCommerce section as well as a blog section. I only want to display the currency converter on the WooCommerce pages and not the other pages on my site. Below is what I have tried to do but fails to work:
Display rules > Show on both mobile & desktop > Display everywhere enabled > Selected pages to hide
= shows converter on every page
Display rules > Show on both mobile & desktop > Display everywhere disabled > Selected pages to hide
= show converter on no pages
WooCurency version: 1.2.0 (free version)
Wordpress version:5.2.3
Thanks in advance,

Great plugin. I downloaded from the Repository, realized I was on a 7 day free trial, and decided to purchase it. Best decision in the past few weeks.
I experimented with disabling the plugin for a few minutes and got a spam comment. Yikes. I enabled it back on. This goes to show you how well CleanTalk works to protect your WordPress site from spam.

I am a bit confused regarding just how wp-cli hooks into WordPress, but on our main site a couple of plugins aren’t adding their wp-cli commands… In their loading they look to see if WP_CLI is defined, and obviously at that point it is not. 🙂 Yet if I fire up ‘wp shell’ and test for it, it is defined. The same plugins work fine on a test copy of our site, which is leaving me puzzled.
UPDATE: Seems it was some strange caching issue, even after quite some time, but it is working now. Don’t know whether to 🙁 or 🙂 on that. 🙂

Trying to run this on a site and seeing:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method PHPCompatibility\PHPCSHelper::findStartOfStatement() in /home/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/php-compatibility-checker/vendor/phpcompatibility/php-compatibility/PHPCompatibility/Sniffs/FunctionUse/ArgumentFunctionsReportCurrentValueSniff.php:323
I read somewhere that PHPCompatibility may be out of date or out of sync with the Sniffs definitions, but no way to fix it. At any rate, it does when checking the AMP plugin if that helps.

Dear Team,
I am writing to gain your help to understand why the Schema type says WebPage instead of the actual product type.
Also, other types of fields are not correctly associated with Google Schema. If we can bind it with Schema, it will be a significant step toward the enhancement of SEO.
Please help.
Best Regards,
Syed H

Hi,
This message is not true:
“1,826 Bilder und 21,152 Vorschaubilder wurden noch nicht von ShortPixel optimiert.”
This is exactly the number of images i have all in all and they have been optimized once – thats why i have a “ShortpixelBackup”-folder.
So what to do now?

Hi,
I have some interest in contributors for my blog and noticed contributors can access and create affiliate links. I would like only admins to be able to access the plugin.

Hello,
I’ve been very pleased with the Ivory Search plugin thus far. On my desktop format, it is in my menu (which I love), but it displays underneath all of the categories. I’d rather have it to the right of my “Contact” tab.
As for the mobile format, it shows in the top right corner (which I love); however, I’ve recently added a top bar subscription form and it covers the magnifying glass. I was hoping to be able to move it to the left corner and below the subscription form in the mobile format.
Are these changes possible? Thank you so much!

Hi,
I’m using PPOM plugin to add an additional service that a customer can purchase. The service can be applied in any of the products, I have it as a PPOM checkbox field. The thing is I want to charge only once for such a service on the checkout. Means If a customer applies such a service at least once I want to add ONE TIME FIXED FEE to the whole order. For example, even If someone applies a service two or three times (each time in different products) and then proceed to the cart and checkout, would only see one-time
fixed fee of the price of one service (not summing everything up). Is there a way I could achieve that using this plugin? I’ve noticed there is an option of a one-time fee to the cart total, but it sums up everything.

I would like the images to show the title name of the file and not the file name. When creating the galleries I imported from the WordPress library rather than uploading a fresh image. I see others have mentioned this with some other issues.
I assumed there might be a switch in the settings but I can’t find anything?
Many thanks

Hello,
My apologies upfront if this is an easy fix, but I am lost as to why my backups are no longer working. I set this up years ago and have neglected maintenance until today. I keep getting this error:
[12-Oct-2019 10:22:28] ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!
[12-Oct-2019 10:22:28] One old log deleted
[12-Oct-2019 10:22:28] ERROR: Job has ended with errors in 87 seconds. You must resolve the errors for correct execution.
I am trying to get a good backup prior to updating to the latest WordPress as I am still running on WordPress version: 4.8.10, so hopefully that is not why my backup is failing. Any help is greatly appreciated and again my apologies for lack of tech skills, it has been a long time since I have messed around with wordpress.
Here is my debug info:

I have a website that has been giving intermittent 504 errors this past week. It is hard to troubleshoot because the error isn’t consistent.
I have tried:
– Disabling all plugins and activated WP 2019 theme and the issue is still present. My initial thought was a bad plugin but since that didn’t resolve it, I am a bit lost for how else to troubleshoot.
– I contacted the hosting support (siteground) which noted several things:
1) High CPU
2) The error log has quite a few errors reading along the lines of this:
[Sat Oct 12 13:33:18.155677 2019] [:warn] [pid 20489] [client 157.55.39.235:50326] Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /home/humani96/public_html/index.php
3) There are many slow MySQL queries – all are referencing a variety of plugins, which doesn’t help me narrow things down.
4) I downloaded the Query Monitor plugin, but that gives me similar info to number 3 being a variety of plugins which doesn’t help me narrow things down.
Right now I am trying to revert the website to two weeks back, but siteground’s backup tool has been running for 30 minutes!
I did build the website on a temporary URL which siteground says causes database issues. Could this have to do with it?
What would you recommend to further troubleshoot this? Is there anything I can ask the hosting company that will help narrow down what else the problem could be?
